Shandy and Higgins earn their CGC
Monday night October 10th, Shandy and Higgins gave a very good performance to pass their Canine Good Citizen test. They can add CGC to their official names now.
Heartland’s Supported Entry
Very proud to share that Higgins went Best of Opposite at the August 27th show Saturday. He also was Select on Sunday as was our Winnie Select too. Cammie takes the cake though with Best of Breed on Saturday and Best of Opposite on Sunday, with an Owner/Handler win thrown in for good measure. Fern, our youngest puppy, at exactly 6 months old, made her debut at this show. Dilly and Sully also competed. Very proud of all of the Fox River Spaniels there!
Molly – our 15th breed champion!
Molly, CH Fox River Good Golly Miss Molly earned her final points to become a breed champion August 27th at Lake Elmo, MN – the Heartland Welsh Springer Spaniel Supported Entry. She is owned and handled by Joan and Kevin! Way to go!
Kendyl – New TDI
June 18th, 2016 – Kendyl – Fox River Rapids Crèche and her owner Sara earned their Therapy Dog certification! Always proud of our owners with their dogs helping others.

Winnie is a new champion!
Our Winnie – Fox River Sweet Solitude earned her 4 point major on Saturday at the Wheaton Kennel Club in Illinois to finish. She was moved up for Sunday and now has 4 points and a major toward her Grand Championship. A very good weekend!

Our newest litter of English Cocker puppies in four years! Meet Shandy’s “Board Game” litter: Bingo, Twister, Clue and Checkers! Two black boys, 1 red boy and 1 girl, a black and tan. Shandy has been a great mother!
Higgins goes Best Hunting Dog at the WSS Nationals

We traveled to Gray Summit, Missouri the first weekend in May where the Welsh Springer Spaniel National was held at Purina Farms. We were very happy to receive this prestigious award.
All of the Fox River Spaniel dogs and their owners received ribbons too. It was a fun time for all!

May Day Delivery!
Penny who owns Dilly, CH Fox River Dilys Dydanwy, whelped their first litter today. Six pups, 1 boy and 5 girls. All are doing well! All are spoken for at this time.
Adam earns his OTCH!
The team of Lisa Sinke and Adam – Fox River Naniboujou, earned their OTCH – Obedience Trial Champion title today. Tons of work went into this win and I am so proud of all that she has done with this little black and tan English Cocker.
