Fox River Naniboujou earns his OGM!

Lisa and her dog Adam earned their Obedience Grand Master this past weekend.  This is a really big deal requiring a lot of training, showing, and competing.  These two are an awesome pair!  Thanks for loving and believing in this little guy Lisa!

Tilly and Rhea at 10 months!

Here’s a picture from May 2018 at the Jefferson show of the two sisters (Tilly left and Rhea right with Joan).

May 2018 Jefferson show I am so tickled that the two littermates did so well at the Heartland Welsh Springer Spaniel Club’s Supported Entry at West Bend, WI this weekend (June 30, July 1). Pictures to follow.

My little Tilly was Best in Sweeps, Winners and Best of Winners for a 5 point major on Saturday.  Her sister Rhea went Winners on Sunday also for a 5 point major.  Doesn’t get much better than that, now does it?!

Just 4 months old!

Puppy Titles! June 2018 cropped

This is Liz with her new puppy Simon – Fox River Prairie Fire Song About The Moon.  Look at all the medals around his neck!  He and Liz entered an IABCA Show this past weekend and went away with his National Baby Championship, his International Baby Championship and his Honors Baby Championship.  Not bad for the first time in the ring for both of them! Proud of you both!

Missing Molly

Posted on

Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 was the date of Molly’s passing.  Her fancy name was Champion Lynlee’s Fox River Sweet Pea CD RE JH WD OAP OJP VCX CGC.  She was our first Welsh Springer Spaniel and the beginning of Fox River Spaniels’ Welshie line.  She was my heart dog.  She was my first breed champion.  She was such a good girl though she had a spark of mischievousness. Like the time she took a loaf of bread off the counter and ate the whole thing – except the plastic bag (evidence).  She gave us one litter of nine girls and now there are over 70 Fox River WSS, thanks to her.  I was blessed to have had her for 15 years, 1 month and 15 days – never long enough.  I can’t begin to thank those who have offered condolences – it really does help.  The number of people that we know because of Molly and her offspring is unbelievable.  Who would have thought that picking up that darling little bundle of joy on Father’s Day weekend 2003 in Phoenix, AZ would open so many doors.  Miss you Molly.

Achiever Dog March 29, 2018

I’m assuming because he has his Grand Championship, Championship, his Junior Hunter and CGC that he earned this recognition.  Either way, I’m darn proud of this boy!

All puppies have now been placed.

IMG_6092This little girl with the pink collar, known as Havarti (from the cheese litter) is a gorgeous little girl.  She is out of Dilly and Higgins, both show champions.

We have found a great show home for this little one.  So all the puppies have homes right now.

For other litters, keep an eye on this website where we will announce any new puppies.  Thanks for following us!

Dilly's second litter 4 days old

Dilly whelped her litter of 8 puppies February 22, 2018.  This is the same birthday as her grandmother Dottie!   We are very happy and clearly she is too.  Five girls and three boys all healthy and gaining weight.  Good job Dilly and Higgins!

We are still looking for good homes.  Show homes especially.  So inquiries are invited.
