Mya SIA and SHDN!

Mya has quite the nose. With a tracking title (TD) and all of her scent work titles (too many to list) it just proves that she is special! Here is her latest picture with her ribbons (minus a blue one for first place!).

Eira Loves the Water!

Beth sent me these shots of Eira up at their cabin. Beautiful pictures. Beautiful dog!

Anwen and Iris earned their Fast Cat Titles!

We went to the Fond du Lac trial August 31, 2024. Granddaughters Rose and Lola, along with their Dad, Justin and their dogs Benjamin and Polo, rooted us on. Even Benjamin earned a couple legs toward his BCAT. Fun was had by all!

Top to bottom: Anwen, Iris, Benjamin

A special opportunity just arose. I have a Welshie show girl available.

One of the girls from the Island litter, born July 15, 2023 – so 13 months old, is coming back to me. This little girl is show quality and has already been shown. If you are interested in showing and interested in the possibilities of this sweet girl, send me an email to discuss those possibilities – foxriverspaniels@yahoo.com . Here she is with a brother and two sisters. Second from the left.

The first liver and tan English Cocker Spaniel girl in US breed history to earn a grand champion. My girl Quincy!

Sunday, August 25th, 2024 Quincy earned her grand championship. That was really special! A dream come true. I knew once she earned this title she would go into the breed history books. I was soooo proud of this little girl. She showed her heart out. She loves the breed ring. She looked absolutely gorgeous. To say I am thrilled is an understatement.

Plans are to have a litter of puppies in the spring. Might even be some liver-colored ones!

Ernie hits the big time!

Ernie has been invited to the National Fast Cat competition in Ohio this fall. Ernie was the fastest Welsh Springer Spaniel in breed history last year – and that is why he was invited! The picture doesn’t show all the detail – wonder why, but take my word for it, he is FAST! Good luck Karen and Ernie. We’ll be waiting to hear how he does.

Fox River Princess Penny – always up for a ride!

Bob sent me these really cute pictures of Penny. She loves to go with Bob whenever he lets her. Talk about a velcro dog!

GCH CH Fox River Sweet Solitude CD BN TD RN RI CGC TKN FITB

I know, a lot of letters behind and before Winnie’s name. Guess when you are almost 11 you should have a few titles. Titles in front of her name indicate the she is a breed champion and a grand champion. Those after her name – the CD and BN are obedience, the TD is tracking, the RN and RI (her newest title) are in rally, CGC is canine good citizen, TKN is trick dog, and FITB is for being a fit dog! One thing I love about this breed is the versatility and Winnie is a perfect example. Soon to be 11, we still continue to work on new things. It keeps both of us old girls young! Love you Winnie!

Winnie is back!

Winnie and I were back in the ring after a long, long time. The little stinker took second place in Rally Intermediate at the Oshkosh Kennel Club’s trial. Not bad for a 10 1/2 year old! Proud of my oldest girl!

Athena and Carlotta!

Carlotta and Athena went to their first official dog show in June 2024. The little stinker under Carlotta’s handling earned a reserve winner to a 5 point major! A great start to her show career! Thank you Carlotta!
